Apex vs MyFundedFutures: two one-time 50K evals

Apex's EOD 50K and MFFU's Builder 50K are both one-time buys with a $3,000 target, a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown and a $1,000 daily loss limit that only pauses you. Apex gives you 30 days and 6 minis; MFFU has no activation fee and 4 minis. Funded, both need about $2,600 of profit before the first payout, but Apex pays 100% and MFFU 80%.

Apex's list price is rarely what anyone pays; the coupon line is the usual checkout price. MFFU also discounts often. Either way, both are one payment, no monthly bill.

Where they differ

Time. Apex gives you 30 calendar days to hit the target. MFFU's Builder has no time limit, so a slow month costs you nothing extra.

Size. Apex lets you trade 6 minis on the 50K eval, MFFU 4. If your normal size is 5 or 6 NQ micros it doesn't matter; if you scale into ES minis it does. The contract limits page lists every firm and size.

Activation. Apex charges $129 to start the PA on a 50K. MFFU charges nothing.

What's the same: an end-of-day floor, no best-day rule to pass and a soft $1,000 daily limit. A bad day ends early instead of ending the account.

The split looks like the big gap, but the caps and the six-payout limit at Apex matter as much. The profit splits page runs the math on a real payout, and the Apex PA rules cover every tier.

Which one fits you

  • You're fast and want the highest split: Apex, ideally on a coupon.
  • You want time and no extra fees: MFFU's Builder.
  • You like daily payouts after a short streak: look at MFFU's Rapid plan instead, which trades a 50% eval rule for daily funded payouts.

FundedSim runs Apex's EOD 50K with every PA rule. MFFU isn't simulated yet; the Apex EOD 50K is the closest practice account because the drawdown works the same way.

Questions people actually ask

Is Apex or MyFundedFutures cheaper for a 50K?

At list price MFFU's Builder is cheaper: $153 with no activation fee against Apex's $590 plus $129. Apex almost always runs a coupon, though, and at the usual $59 the Apex eval plus activation is $188. Compare the checkout price on the day you buy.

Which pays out sooner?

MFFU's Builder needs two trading days per payout cycle, Apex needs five days of $250 or more on a 50K. Both make you build roughly $2,600 of profit before the first request.

Does either have a consistency rule on the eval?

No. Neither the Apex EOD eval nor the MFFU Builder eval has a best-day rule to pass. Both bring a 50% best-day rule in on payouts.
