Alpha Futures Qualified account rules, size by size
An Alpha Futures Zero Qualified account keeps an end-of-day drawdown that stops at the starting balance, plus a soft 2% daily loss guard. After every five winning days of $200 you can request up to 50% of profit, up to four times a month, under a 40% consistency rule. You keep 90% from the first payout.

"Max contracts" is the most a size allows. On the 50K and 100K you start lower and scale up with profit (below).
The drawdown and the daily guard
The Maximum Loss Limit trails your end-of-day balance and stops trailing at the starting balance. On a 50K it starts at $48,000. Break it on a Qualified account and the account is closed.
Alpha Futures says the limit doesn't slide to the starting balance when you take your first payout, which several other firms do. Your cushion after the first payout is the same as before it, minus what you withdrew.
On top of that there's a Daily Loss Guard of 2% of the starting balance: $1,000 on the 50K. It's soft. Hit it and you're locked until the next trading day at 6 PM ET.
Contracts scale on the bigger sizes
- 25K: 1 mini, no scaling.
- 50K: 1 mini under $1,500 of profit, 2 from $1,500, 3 from $2,000.
- 100K: 2 minis under $1,500, rising to 6 above $4,500.
The payout checklist
- Five winning days of $200 or more since your last request.
- The 40% rule. Your biggest day divided by your net profit since the last request must be 40% or less.
- Up to 50% of your profit, at least $200 and at most the cap: $1,000, $1,500 or $2,500.
- Up to four requests a month.
You keep 90% from the first payout. There's no tiered split.

The path to live
Alpha Futures calls traders to live at its discretion; an account needs at least one payout to be considered. When you're called up, all your Qualified accounts close. You can hold up to five Zero Qualified accounts at a time.

Practice it
FundedSim doesn't simulate Alpha Futures yet. Its drawdown works like Topstep's Maximum Loss Limit: end of day, stopping at the starting balance. The Topstep 50K in the simulator trains the same habit, and the consistency calculator checks the 40% rule for a payout cycle.
Questions people actually ask
Does Alpha Futures have a consistency rule on Qualified accounts?
Yes, for payouts: your biggest day can't be more than 40% of your net profit since the last request. Breaking it doesn't close the account; it just means you can't request yet.
Does the Alpha Futures drawdown move when I take a payout?
Alpha Futures says the Maximum Loss Limit doesn't slide to the starting balance when you take your first payout. It stays where it was.
How often can I get paid by Alpha Futures?
Up to four times a month, as long as you collect five winning days of $200 or more between requests.
Is there a monthly fee on a Qualified account?
No. Qualified traders don't pay a monthly subscription, and Zero accounts have no activation fee.
Blow it here, not on a paid eval
