// How it works

## Real data. Real rules. Zero dollars.

Trade right in the app on your phone or desktop with live prices, or stick with TradingView and drop in the day's trades with a CSV. Every trade runs through Apex's or Topstep's eval rules: open positions, EOD threshold, daily loss limit, contract limits, deadline, the works. The same rules that would blow your real eval, except you save hundreds per eval.

- 1 Pick your firm Apex or Topstep, with more on the way: MFFU · Take Profit · Tradeify · Lucid Trading · Top One Futures · Alpha Futures · Bulenox (and many more coming). Pick the firm and account size you'd buy for real. That eval's exact rules kick in immediately.
- 2 Trade or import Buy and sell right in the app, drop in a TradingView CSV, or punch trades in by hand. Either way, they hit the same drawdown, DLL, and target as a real eval.
- 3 See if you'd pass Real trailing drawdown. Real freeze points. Real fail conditions. The only fake thing is the money, which is the whole point.

Most traders blow a few evals before they reach PA. When an Apex 50K eval runs $55 even with a coupon, practicing here first saves real money.

// What traders say

Blew 4 evals before I found this. Could've saved $120+ if I'd known. Now I run a week here before I touch a real eval.

EOD trailing always tripped me up. Watching the threshold shift in real-time finally made it click. Now I get why my accounts kept blowing.

TradingView CSV import is the killer feature for me. I paper-trade, export, and see immediately if I would've blown an Apex account.

// FAQ

## Quick answers.

**Is it really free?**

Rookie is, for good: three eval accounts a month on US500 and US100, no card. Starter, Advance and Pro are paid plans with more accounts, symbols and firms.

**Which prop firms work?**

Funded Simulator runs Apex Trader Funding (End of Day and Intraday evals, 25K to 150K) and Topstep (Trading Combine, 50K to 150K), each with its real rules 1:1. Coming next: MFFU · Take Profit · Tradeify · Lucid Trading · Top One Futures · Alpha Futures · Bulenox (and many more coming).

**Do I need to sign up?**

Yep, but a free Rookie account does it. No card. Sign in on your laptop or your phone and the same evals and trades are on both.

**Can I import from TradingView?**

Yes. Export your trades as CSV from TradingView and drop the file in. The simulator parses it and runs every trade through the eval rules. Manual entry works too if you'd rather punch them in.

**How accurate are the rules?**

1:1 with the real eval. Same trailing drawdown calculation, same daily loss limit with the same intraday lock, same freeze logic, same 16:59 ET end-of-day settlement and same profit target. Open positions count too: your stop loss, or the worst price you log, is checked against the drawdown and daily loss limit the way the firm's liquidation would. If you'd blow up live, you'd blow up here, and vice versa.

**Will it guarantee I pass a real eval?**

No. The simulator gets the rules right; the discipline is on you. Treat it like a flight sim. Practice until the controls feel automatic, but the real flight is still real.

**Why practice on a simulator before paying for a prop firm eval?**

Even on sale, blown evals cost real money, and that's the prop firm business model. They profit when you fail, and most traders blow 2–4 evals before passing. Every reset is more revenue for them. This simulator runs the exact same rules for free. Go through your learning curve here, not at their checkout.

**How is this different from a broker demo account?**

Demo accounts don't track eval rules. You can trade all day on a demo without knowing you blew your drawdown two hours ago. Funded Simulator runs the exact same trailing drawdown, daily loss limit and end-of-day calculations that Apex and Topstep use, so when you pass here, the rules won't surprise you on the real thing.

**How much can I save by practicing first?**

Even on a 90% coupon, an Apex eval costs $16.70–189. Two to four blown evals add up to $33–760, and that's just the eval. Resets, PA activations and monthly fees stack on top. Here it's $0 to fail as many times as you need. Practice until your rules are automatic, then buy the real one when you're ready.
